About Myself

Tafsirul Hassan has been a lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) since July 17, 2022.  He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from CUET in May 2021 and June 2023, respectively. Prior to joining as a lecturer, he served as a research assistant at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, CUET, from September 30, 2021, to June 30, 2022. His area of interest is the development of environmentally friendly fuels (biofuels, e-fuels, green hydrogen, ammonia, etc.) for internal combustion engines.  His current research focuses on decarbonization and ultra-low emissions using hydrogen in compression ignition engines (RCCI combustion mode) through CFD simulation.  He is currently serving as a peer reviewer in various notable journals, such as Heliyon, Energy Reports, Alexandria Engineering JournalEnvironmental Progress & Sustainable Energy, and others.
