About Myself

Asaduzzaman received the B. Sc. Engineering degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh, in 2001. From 2001 to onwards has been serving as a faculty member in the same University. He received PhD degree from University of Ulsan, Korea in 2010. Currently, he is a Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Chittagong, Bangladesh. Currently, he is in charge of Head of the same Department since April 23, 2019. Also, he is serving as an Additional Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), CUET since May 07, 2015. Previously, he served as a Director of Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT) during April 2017-April 2019 and also served as a Syndicate Member of CUET during April 2017- December 2018. In National level, he also involves in different activities in University Grants Commission (UGC) such as- he is a member of BdREN sustainability plan committee and he is an Enlisted Peer Reviewer of Self-Assessment Report of Quality Assurance Unit. So far, he has evaluated more than 15 programs in 10 different public and private universities in Bangladesh. His major research interests include wireless communication and networking with emphasis on cooperative communications and MIMO systems, wireless sensor networks and IoT, cognitive radio, Nonlinear Optimization, etc. He has more than fifty publications in referred journals and conference proceedings. He serves as a TPC member in different international conferences and a reviewer of several international journals and conferences. Recently, he has been selected as an evaluator of the Call for Proposals of TEIN*CC and Asi@Connect project. TEIN*CC is a non-profit Foundation Corporation established in Korea to manage the Asi@Connect project funded by European Union. He also successfully completed various research and quality assurance project worth BDT 130,00,000.00 from UGC, Ministry of Education and Research and Extension of CUET.
