Title: Information Technology for Estimating and Inducing Emotions
Abstract: It may be a bit strange title but I would like to talk about our
latest research rather than human-robot interaction research that you
may know well. We are now working on measuring heart rate from facial
video images and estimating human emotions from the heart rate change
and other visual information. We are also working on improving
interaction between music group performers such as AKB48 (you know?) and
their audience through IT devices showing each emotional status to the
others. Currently, these two are different projects, but we intend to
combine both together.
